Over 8 years of building Farmwave, we spent the majority of our time in the field doing R&D. We were very mobile and spent a lot of time traveling.
As we continue to grow, and commercialize the Farmwave Harvest Vision system, we’ve had a need to plant roots somewhere so we can build out testing, support, configuring, packaging, and shipping and receiving of the hardware.
We're a remote work culture and this brings us access to a lot of talent and skill sets from all over, but it’s time to get the inventory and product out of garages and basements and into a facility that enables our growth.
This is why we’re excited to announce that we have a new physical office location in Dahlonega, Georgia.
While this isn’t yet a storefront style space, it gives our Georgia-based crew a place to organize, stretch out, and continue delivering value to farmers all around the world.
Oh, and not to brag, but our new hometown was named the state’s Best Small Town by Southern Living.
