South America is not new to Farmwave. In 2019, we were in the Mato Grosso region for 21 days on a project with AGCO testing our first prototype hardware. The focus was on the harvester, but we did some beta testing on planters and sprayers with our earlier AI models.

Then COVID hit and everything stopped.

Fast forward to Q4 2024 and Farmwave began getting website hits from Brazil. Get into Q1 and Q2 of 2025, and multiple discussions had begun with cooperatives and dealers all over Brazil, Argentina, and even parts of Paraguay and Uruguay. In May of this year, Farmwave attended Agrishow for the first time. The amount of discussions and partnerships to come from this one show are still growing almost 3 months later.

However, getting a product into Brazil from America has it's challenges. This is where VRO comes in. VRO is a precision agriculture technology dealer with the ability to bring products into Brazil.

"Farmwave brings a much-needed harvest time technology to Brazil and the world. There have not been any significant advancements in harvest time solutions for farmers for the last 30 years until Farmwave.  Farmers are investing in planter and sprayer technology to help with yield gains and reduce cost,  but there hasn’t been a solution to help reduce harvest loss until Farmwave.  VRO looks forward to advancing Farmwave technology in Brazil and putting more profits in the pockets of farmers.", says Jeff Rohlena, Founder/Owner of VRO Ag Tech in Brazil.

"We're excited for this partnership and look forward to leaning into the expertise and value that VRO brings to help deliver a product like Farmwave to the Brazilian market.", said Craig Ganssle, Founder & CEO fo Farmwave.

Farmwave and VRO already presented together to cooperatives and farmers alike in Brazil during Agrishow and initial orders are already being prepared to head into the country.
